Head of Data / Principal Data Engineer

Owns data architecture, pipelines, and data quality strategy across all Dataplane products.

Responsibilities

Design and own the core data architecture powering Dataplane
Build and maintain reliable data pipelines at enterprise scale
Define and implement data quality standards and monitoring
Lead technical decisions around data storage, processing, and governance
Mentor engineers and establish data engineering best practices

Ideal background

8+ years in data engineering with experience building production data systems. Deep expertise in modern data stack (dbt, Spark, Airflow, or similar). Track record of leading data teams or functions.
